Blooming Grove City Council
Three incumbents for Alderman are Donald Harris, Donny Scott and Linda Busby, none of whom are seeking re-election. Three new candidates, Bill Brown, Ashley Mahone and Susan McCall have filed for the three unopposed positions; therefore no City Council election will be required this year. The new Council members will be sworn in at the June City Council meeting.
Blooming Grove School Board
Three incumbents for School Board Trustee are Marty Weaver, Donnie Grounds and Brett Melton; Melton is the only incumbent running for re-election. Challengers are Micah Haden, T.C. Lawhon, Pat Reed, Derek Weaver, David Peterson and Robert Phipps.
Election Day is Saturday, May 9th, 2015
